This job ad no longer accept r\u00e9sum\u00e9s for consideration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Department: &nbsp;Electronic Repairs<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Job Description Electronic Repairs Manager<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Under the general\ndirection and supervision of the Vice President\/COO, coordinates and supervises\nthe functions of the Electronic Repairs department. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"list wp-block-list\"><li>Establishes unit objectives, work plans, schedules, and ensures resources are available for completion of established operational assignments. <\/li><li>Diagnoses, services, repairs and maintains personal computers, servers, printers and\/or other data communications equipment. <\/li><li>Hires, trains and supervises staff in the service and maintenance of computers and related data equipment. <\/li><li>Establishes work standards, methods and controls for repair and\/or maintenance      actions. <\/li><li>Develops repair services policies and procedures. <\/li><li>Focuses on resources development and process improvements. <\/li><li>Evaluates and implements changes in work procedures in assigned areas. <\/li><li>Provides technical assistance and support to office personnel as required. <\/li><li>Handles confidential information.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Relationships:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"list wp-block-list\"><li>Internal:<ul><li>Interacts with Bench Technicians, Technical Account Managers (TAMs), Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and a variety of staff in other departments.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>External:<ul><li>Interacts with Field Engineers and subcontractor technical support staff.Interacts with vendors and manufacturers\u2019 staff at various levels. <\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Primary Duties and Responsibilities:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"list wp-block-list\"><li>Plans, organizes\nand directs activities of the Electronic Repairs department.<\/li><li>Establishes work\nstandards, methods and controls for scheduled and unscheduled repair and\nmaintenance actions.<\/li><li>Investigates,\nanalyzes, and resolves hardware and associated software and communications\nproblems; performs complex hardware repairs and maintenance on a wide range of\nPC-based computers and peripheral equipment.<\/li><li>Isolates malfunctions\nusing troubleshooting techniques, diagnostic software, technical data and other\ntests requiring specialized test equipment.<\/li><li>Interprets\nmalfunctions and determines extent and economy of repair of malfunctioning\nequipment. Prescribes, coordinates and ensures accurate and timely corrective\naction.<\/li><li>Reviews technical\ninstructions and plans and ensures; ensures compliance with technical data,\ninstructions, and work standards; ensures conformance to standard repair and\nmaintenance practices.<\/li><li>Maintains,\ninspects and tests assigned equipment and\/or systems.<\/li><li>Installs\ncomponents, units and printed circuit boards following specifications.<\/li><li>Supports Quality\nAssurance with receiving inspection and test, and shipping.<\/li><li>Establishes work\npriorities for self and subordinates and schedules repair actions.<\/li><li>Documents\nproblems relating to hardware and software, and sets up prescribed formats,\nresolving them independently or referring them to expert staff as needed.<\/li><li>Develops and\/or\nfollows established operation security practices; ensures compliance with\nsafety standards and instructions.<\/li><li>Documents all repairs for Quality Assurance testing and\nprocessing.&nbsp; Interacts with departmental\nstaff to ensure Electronic Repairs customer satisfaction.<\/li><li>Reviews, prioritizes, and processes problem reports;\ndocuments the progress of projects.<\/li><li>Develops and maintains inventory of computer, printer,\nserver, and\/or other related equipment and peripherals, hardware and software.<\/li><li>Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations,\ndecrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively\nand jointly to provide quality customer service.<\/li><li>Hires, trains and supervises Bench technicians and\/or\nother employees, as the need arises.<\/li><li>Ensures a high level of quality for customer service\nstandards is maintained.<\/li><li>Ensures test bed\nand common work areas are clean and well organized. <\/li><li>Assists ITG\nsupport desk representatives on testing or providing information to Field\nEngineers.<\/li><li>Interacts with\nvendors and manufacturers\u2019 staff at various levels regarding parts information,\ntechnical information, and repair warranty. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Other Assigned Duties:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"list wp-block-list\"><li>Performs other related duties as assigned.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"list wp-block-list\"><li>A+ certification is required.<\/li><li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in electronics and\/or equivalent\ncertificate from a technical school, or equivalent training and work\nexperience.<\/li><li>Minimum five years experience as Electronic Repairs\nsenior technician or equivalent experience in an electronic repairs and\/or\nmaintenance environment.<\/li><li>Experience using electronic test equipment such as\nmulti-meter, signal generator, oscilloscope, digital voltmeters, and audio\nanalyzer.<\/li><li>Ability to read and understand technical drawings,\ndatasheets, and written work instructions.<\/li><li>Knowledge of a wide range of computer systems\nsoftware, applications, hardware, and communications. <\/li><li>Knowledge of customer service standards and\nprocedures, and ability to relate well with customers.<\/li><li>Good verbal and writing communication skills.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Status:\u00a0\u00a0 Exempt<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-background has-text-align-center has-theme-red-color has-custom-daylight-background-color\">Position Closed.
